About Us

Victory Honda AAA Hockey (VH) is based in Plymouth, Michigan, and is a non-profit 501-c3 organization.

Since 2005, Victory Honda AAA Hockey (VH) has been dedicated to developing our student-athletes to their maximum potential through highly experienced coaching and advanced training methods. We are committed to excellence and strive for success.

Victory Honda plays and practices at the 2018 renovated Victory Ice Center. Our program includes eight boys teams from U10 to U18 and competes at the highest level of USA Hockey. Our national-bound teams (14U-18U) compete each year in the Michigan Amateur Hockey State Playoffs with the opportunity to advance to the Tier I National Championships. Tier I AAA hockey is the most highly scouted and recruited youth division which produces the most players for non-pay-to-play junior leagues such as the USHL, NAHL, BCHL, AJHL, and CHL.

Because we are development driven, we support and implement USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM). Our current coaches include former college players, former college coaches, and former NHL players creating a staff that offers top-level coaching to all VH athletes. Our staff has trained and developed hundreds of athletes who have reached Collegiate, Junior, and Professional levels.

Notable VH alumni currently playing in the NHL: Alex DeBrincat, Jaxson Stauber, Ian Cole (2x Stanley Cup Winner), Mat Roy, Nick Blankenburg.

MISSION

Our focus is to provide an advanced development hockey program that encourages our players to set and achieve their goals, including their pursuit of the next level in their hockey career; develop leaders who will be successful in all areas of their life; and teach and challenge our players to be good teammates with high character.

Providing on-ice and off-ice training opportunities allows each player to maximize their potential in a competitive environment while learning positive life lessons that lead to becoming responsible and constructive leaders as adults.

Player Development

We take pride in our efforts to develop the whole player

  • Daily access top-level coaching to develop player skills
  • Emphasize the understanding of the game of Hockey
  • Mentor players both on and off the ice
  • We provide elite off-resources and partnerships with Ethos Human Performance
  • Each team averages 3 on-ice practices per week and has access to additional on-ice skills sessions

COMPETITION & EXPOSURE

As members of the T1EHL, we play against teams from all over the country. Our facility is located in the Midwest and close to many NHL markets, NCAA schools, and junior teams.

In this high exposure area, our players are able to showcase their skills to scouts at the next level and earn the chance to play at that level. Creating challenging schedules against other national top teams is something we take great pride in. Michigan is one of the most competitive areas in the country.
